Getting Around
Freiburg is tiny. The whole city is walkable, trams run every 5 minutes, and the Ballhaus is right next to the main station. Here's how to arrive and move.
Arriving in Freiburg
Direct ICE/TGV connections from Frankfurt (≈ 2 h), Munich (4 h), Paris (3 h 30), Zurich Airport (2 h). From Freiburg Hbf the Ballhaus is reachable by tram in 8 min or on foot in about 22 min via the city centre.

Zurich (ZRH, 80 km) is the Swiss alternative — a direct train ride away. Karlsruhe / Baden-Baden (FKB, 120 km) is the closest low-cost option, and Stuttgart (STR, 210 km) is well connected via direct ICE trains.
